Privacy Policy

This policy covers Anna AI (com.anna.aichat), an app for chatting with AI characters, published by DNG Soft. It describes what the app collects, what leaves your device, and what you can do about it. It is written to match what the app actually does rather than to cover every possibility.

1. There is no account

Anna AI has no sign-up, no login and no user account. We do not ask for your email address, phone number or any other identifier, and we do not create one for you. There is no profile of you on our servers to request, export or delete, because there is none to begin with.

2. What stays on your device

The following is stored only in the app's own storage on your phone, and is not uploaded to us:

• Your conversations. Every message you send and every reply you receive is saved in a database on your device.
• Your profile. The name, the "about you" note and the interests you optionally enter during onboarding or in Settings.
• Your preferences. Favourites, language, theme, and whether you have an active subscription.
• Files you attach. Photos and documents you send are copied into the app's storage so the conversation still shows them later.

Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. Settings → Clear all data deletes it without uninstalling.

3. What is sent to our servers

To answer you, the app sends your message to our server at chat.dngsoft.com, which forwards it to the AI model that generates the reply. What is sent is:

• the text of the current conversation, so the character can follow it;
• any photo or document you attached to a message;
• the character's written personality, which includes the name, "about you" note and interests from your profile if you entered them, so the character can address you;
• the language your app is set to, so the reply comes back in it.

No identifier is sent with it. The request carries no account, no user id, no device id and no advertising id, and our chat service does not write conversation content to storage. It cannot be linked back to you or to your other messages by us.

The same applies to the Tools tab, which sends the text you type in it the same way.

4. AI providers

We do not build the AI models. Your messages are passed to third-party model providers through OpenRouter, and pictures a character draws are generated through Replicate. Those providers process the content in order to produce a response and handle it under their own terms. Do not send anything to a character that you would not want processed by a third party — see section 8.

5. Analytics and diagnostics

The app uses Google Firebase for three things:

• Analytics — which screens are opened and which features are used, so we can tell what is worth improving. These are events like "opened the paywall", not the contents of your conversations.
• Remote Config — fetches settings such as the daily credit allowance, so they can be changed without an app update.
• Cloud Messaging — a push token, if you allow notifications, so we can send them. You can refuse, and the app works the same.

Firebase assigns its own installation identifier. Google's handling of it is described in their privacy policy. On iOS the app asks, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether it may use your device identifier for this measurement. If you decline, it does not. The app contains no advertising and no ad network.

6. Purchases

The Pro subscription is sold and billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment is handled entirely by them: we never see your card, your billing address or your store account. The app receives only a yes-or-no answer about whether a subscription is active, and stores that answer on your device.

7. Children

Anna AI is not intended for children under 13, and characters in it hold open-ended adult conversations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. What you should not send

Characters are AI models, not confidants and not professionals. Do not send passwords, payment details, government identifiers, medical records or anyone else's personal information. A character presenting itself as a doctor, lawyer or therapist is a fictional persona; nothing it says is professional advice.

9. Your choices

• Delete everything the app holds: Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall.
• Leave the profile fields empty, and nothing about you is included in what is sent.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.
• Decline tracking at the iOS prompt.

Because we hold no account, requests to access or delete "your data" have nothing on our side to act on. Everything is on your device and under your control.
